Birthday gift

Excellent accommodation and great room .Ideal location close to amenities. Well run by Mike & partner .This was a gift for Ann’s birthday given by our son and he could not have picked a better place, ideal for restaurants and a Wetherspoons for breakfast if you prefer not to eat in .would recommend for anyone requiring a short stay or a nice weekend.

Fantastic autumn break

Another fantastic stay at the Braemar as usual. Our hosts Michael and Trish went over and above to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and warm with the usual welcoming ‘goodie’ tray. However we were happy to find they are looking at sustainability and have introduced milk, coffee and water in recyclable/reusable glass bottles and jars therefore reducing their plastic waste. They have also supplied a mixed recycling bin in the hallway encouraging guests to recycle their magazines, papers, cans etc.
Breakfast was up to the expected 10/10 standard with locally sourced produce, these are also made to order reducing food waste.
We look forward to returning again in 2023.

Excellent hotel in perfect location

A very comfortable hotel. Immaculate decor, clean and warm with every facility that I could need. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, happy to help in any way. It was a safe and relaxed environment which, as a solo traveller, was important to me and the central location was perfect! I would recommend to others and will certainly return.

The Braemar Southport – (Highlights)

We are 8 minutes walk from the main Southport railway station and 2-300 yards (Approx) from Southport pier. The proposed new Marine lake Convention centre is just around the corner (2-300yds) and fashionable Lord street is even nearer in the opposite direction.

If you are into golf, There are 13 golf courses within an hour’s drive of us and 8 of them are championship golf courses including Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool & Royal Lytham.
